Founder & Clinical Director
Natalie (Willey) Hanks, LPC, LAC, RPT
(she/her)
Natalie is a trauma-informed therapist, play therapy specialist, and founder of Illuminate Play Therapy & Counseling. She specializes in trauma, attachment, and nervous-system healing with children and adults.
Her approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy, integrating EMDR, somatic and nervous-system work, play therapy, sandtray, and expressive approaches to create individualized opportunities for deeper healing.
Natalie earned her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and also provides clinical supervision and consultation to developing clinicians.
Working with Natalie:
Private pay - $175 per 50-minute session
75- and 90-minute extended sessions available

Natalie does not accept insurance. Clients with out-of-network benefits may be eligible to seek reimbursement directly from their insurance plan.
Clinical Intern
Karter (KJ) Leuallen, MFT
(she/her)
KJ specializes in trauma, veterans, neurodiversity, and relationship work with teens and adults. She also works with couples and families, brining a relational lens to healing, communication, connection, and the ways our experiences impact the people we love.
KJ holds a master’s in Marriage & Family Counseling from Colorado Christian University.
Her approach integrates EMDR, somatic and nervous-system work, Gottman-based couples therapy, and sandtray and expressive approaches. She has a particular passion for creating therapy that works for neurodivergent clients and for supporting veterans through trauma, relationships, identity, and life transitions.

Clinical Intern
Rylee Wisniewski, LPC
(she/her)
Rylee specializes in perinatal and postpartum mental health, women’s mental health, trauma, and virtual play therapy for children, teens, and adults throughout Colorado. She is especially passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, identity changes, and the emotional transitions that can come with growing a family.
Rylee earned her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University.
Her approach integrates EMDR, somatic and trauma-informed therapy, and creative play-based approaches. For younger client’s Rylee offers virtual play therapy through Illuminate’s interactive Virtual Playroom, allowing children to engage in meaningful therapeutic play from the comfort of home.

Associate Therapist
Taylor Farnham, LSW
(she/her)
Taylor specializes in working with high-acuity children, teens, and families, drawing on her experience serving youth and families involved with the Department of Human Services (DHS). She is passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family stress, and complex life challenges.
Taylor earned her master’s in Social Work from Colorado Mesa University.
She works with children, teens, and families impacted by trauma, behavioral concerns, adjustment difficulties, and system involvement. Taylor is trained in EMDR and play therapy to further support healing through developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approaches.

Britta specializes in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and women's mental health.
She graduated with her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver.
With over seven years of experience in school-based and clinical settings, Britta offers compassionate, practical therapy for teens and adults.
