Founder & Clinical Director
Natalie (Willey) Hanks, LPC, LAC, RPT
(she/her)
Natalie is a trauma-informed therapist, play therapy specialist, and founder of Illuminate Play Therapy & Counseling and Illuminate Counseling Collective. She specializes in trauma, attachment-based therapy, and clinical supervision, providing expert care for children, adolescents, adults, families, and clinicians.
Natalie earned her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University.
Her work integrates neuroscience, play therapy, EMDR, and nervous system regulation to support deep healing and emotional resilience.
Clinical Intern
Karter (KJ) Leuallen, MFT
(she/her)
KJ specializes in couples and family therapy, trauma treatment, addiction recovery, and sandtray therapy for children, teens, and adults. She provides services in both our Rifle and Grand Junction offices.
KJ holds a master’s in Marriage & Family Counseling from Colorado Christian University.
She works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families using Gottman-based couples therapy, EMDR, somatic approaches, and sandtray therapy to support healing, connection, and growth.

Rylee Wisniewski, LPC

Rylee specializes in trauma therapy using play therapy, EMDR, and somatic approaches.
She graduated from Colorado Christian University with her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Rylee works with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and women's mental health concerns.
Associate Therapist
Taylor Farnham, LSW
(she/her)
Taylor specializes in working with high-acuity children, teens, and families, drawing on her experience serving youth and families involved with the Department of Human Services (DHS). She is passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family stress, and complex life challenges.
Taylor earned her master’s in Social Work from Colorado Mesa University.
She works with children, teens, and families impacted by trauma, behavioral concerns, adjustment difficulties, and system involvement. Taylor is trained in EMDR and play therapy to further support healing through developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed approaches.

Britta specializes in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and women's mental health.
She graduated with her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver.
With over seven years of experience in school-based and clinical settings, Britta offers compassionate, practical therapy for teens and adults.
