Natalie Hanks, Therapist in Colorado
Natalie’s work is rooted in attachment-based, developmentally informed therapy that honors the nervous system, relational safety, and emotional regulation.
She specializes in working with children who have experienced trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, ADHD, and complex family dynamics.
Through play therapy, EMDR, somatic therapy, and TF-CBT, Natalie supports children and families in building safety, resilience, and emotional connection.
Even in the darkest seasons, light finds a way through.
With a calm presence and a thoughtful, compassionate approach, Natalie creates a space where individuals, couples, and families can feel safe enough to share their stories, find clarity, and begin to heal — at their own pace, in their own way.

-
In addition to her clinical work, Natalie provides trauma-informed supervision and consultation for clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical skill, confidence, and professional identity.
Her supervision style is relational, supportive, and deeply clinical - blending theory, practical intervention, nervous system understanding, and therapist self-awareness.
-
Natalie believes that therapy is both an art and a science.
Healing happens when clients feel seen, safe, and understood. True transformation occurs when therapy honors both the emotional and physiological impact of trauma, stress, and attachment wounds.
Her work centers on helping children and families experience connection, regulation, and resilience - laying the foundation for lifelong emotional health.
Supporting Therapists Through
Supervision & Training
Beyond her direct work with clients, Natalie offers clinical supervision and case consultation grounded in trauma-informed care.
She mentors therapists through internships and trainings designed to deepen their understanding of somatic and play therapy methods. This commitment to professional growth reflects her belief that healing spreads through education and shared wisdom, strengthening the entire mental health community.
