Therapy looks different for everyone—and so does the way we pay for care. Illuminate offers insurance-based therapy, private-pay services, affordable intern options, and specialized care so you can explore what best fits your needs.

At Illuminate Play Therapy & Counseling, we believe finding the right care also means understanding your options from the beginning. Our therapists offer different specialties, payment options, and levels of care, including insurance-based therapy, private-pay services, affordable intern options, and specialty care.
Whether you choose in-person or virtual therapy, care is tailored to your needs, your goals, and the way you process and heal best.

Payment & Insurance
Sliding Scale
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available with select clinicians based on availability. Illuminate also offers lower-cost therapy with Clinical LPC Interns beginning at $70 per 50-minute session.
Insurance
Insurance participation varies by clinician. Select Illuminate therapists accept insurance, including Medicaid and many major commercial plans, while other services are private pay. Please review your therapist's profile for their current payment options. Insurance benefits and coverage vary by plan, and verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment.

Payment Methods
We accept cash and credit cards. A valid credit card is required to remain on file. Client responsibility, including private-pay fees, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and other applicable charges, is due according to practice policy.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments are subject to a $70 fee.
Late cancellation and no-show fees are not billable to insurance and are the client's responsibility.
Three missed appointments or late cancellations may result in termination of therapy if consistent attendance is not possible.
The credit card on file may be charged for applicable fees.
