A More Focused Path Forward
Specialty Programs & Therapy Intensives
Sometimes healing needs more than another weekly therapy appointment.
Illuminate's specialty programs and therapy intensives offer focused, structured ways to go deeper into a specific area of healing, understanding, or connection. These services are designed for people who may benefit from more time, greater focus, or a different approach than traditional weekly therapy alone.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
What Are Specialty Programs & Therapy Intensives?
Specialty programs and therapy intensives are focused, structured services designed to provide more time and intention around a specific area of healing, understanding, or connection.
Traditional weekly therapy typically allows the work to unfold over time in 50-minute sessions. Specialty programs and intensives create a different kind of space—allowing us to spend more focused time understanding patterns, processing experiences, building skills, and integrating what you're learning.
Depending on the program, your experience may include extended therapy sessions, EMDR, somatic and nervous-system work, play or expressive approaches, assessment and education, individualized resources, parent support, or structured sessions around a specific area of concern.
These services aren't one-size-fits-all.
Before beginning a specialty program or intensive, we'll consider your goals, current needs, history, and whether the service is an appropriate fit. In some situations, traditional ongoing therapy or another level of care may be recommended instead.
Who This Is For
Specialty programs and therapy intensives may be a good fit for children, teens, adults, and families who want a more focused or structured approach to a specific area of healing or understanding.
Adults wanting focused trauma or EMDR work
Adults seeking to better understand their ADHD
People who feel stuck in traditional weekly therapy
Parents and children working through attachment or disconnection
Foster, adoptive, and kinship families navigating trauma and attachment
Individuals wanting faith integrated more intentionally into their healing
People who want dedicated time to go deeper into a specific concern
Those looking for a structured, goal-focused therapeutic experience
You don't have to know which program is right for you. A consultation can help determine whether a specialty program, intensive, traditional therapy, or another type of support best fits your needs.
Important Note
Specialty programs and therapy intensives are not appropriate for every situation. These services are designed for focused therapeutic work and are not intended to replace crisis services, emergency care, or a higher level of treatment when those services are needed.
A consultation is required before beginning a program or intensive to make sure the service is clinically appropriate and aligned with your goals. Recommendations may include a different specialty program, traditional ongoing therapy, or another level of support when appropriate.
Program structure, session length, and recommendations vary depending on the service and individual needs.
Explore Specialty Programs
Each specialty program offers a focused path for a specific area of healing, understanding, or connection. Programs vary in structure and length and are tailored to the individual or family participating.
Not sure which option fits? You don’t need to decide on your own. A consultation can help determine whether a specialty program, intensive, or traditional therapy is the best next step.
Trauma Healing
Focused Trauma Intensive — $750
For when you know where you feel stuck and want dedicated time to work on it.
A Focused Trauma Intensive provides concentrated therapeutic time around a specific traumatic experience, trigger, belief, or area of distress. Rather than beginning and ending the work within a traditional 50-minute appointment, an intensive allows more time for preparation, processing, nervous-system support, and integration.
May include: EMDR, somatic and nervous-system work, grounding and preparation, individualized resources, and integration planning.
May be a good fit for: someone with a relatively defined target who wants focused trauma work rather than a broader course of treatment.
Deep-Dive Trauma Intensive — $1,250
For trauma that feels deeper, layered, or interconnected.
The Deep-Dive Trauma Intensive provides additional therapeutic time for experiences and patterns that may not fit neatly into one specific target. Together, we can explore connections between past experiences, present-day triggers, beliefs, relationships, emotions, and nervous-system responses while moving through the work at an individualized pace.
May include: EMDR, somatic and nervous-system approaches, attachment-focused work, experiential interventions, preparation, processing, and integration.
May be a good fit for: someone who has a clearer sense that trauma is affecting multiple areas of their life and would benefit from more therapeutic time than the focused intensive provides.
Trauma Recovery Series — $1,750
For healing that needs time, continuity, and space to unfold.
The Trauma Recovery Series is a structured, multi-session experience for individuals who want focused trauma treatment while allowing time between sessions for reflection, integration, and continued therapeutic work.
Rather than concentrating everything into one extended appointment, the series creates a more gradual pathway through understanding patterns, building safety, processing trauma, strengthening nervous-system regulation, and integrating change into everyday life.
May include: EMDR, somatic and nervous-system work, attachment-focused approaches, individualized resources, trauma processing, and integration across multiple sessions.
ADHD & Self-Understanding
Understanding My ADHD — $1,250
More than a diagnosis—an opportunity to finally understand your brain.
Understanding My ADHD is a structured adult ADHD assessment and education program for people who want greater clarity about how their brain works and how ADHD may be affecting everyday life.
The goal isn't simply to answer “Do I have ADHD?” It's to help you understand your individual patterns, strengths, challenges, executive functioning, emotions, relationships, overwhelm, and the strategies that may actually work for you.
Program includes:
Comprehensive clinical ADHD assessment
Standardized screening/assessment measures as appropriate
Individualized diagnostic feedback
Three individualized ADHD education sessions
Written recommendations
Personalized resources and workbook materials
Strategies based on your individual needs and patterns
This is a clinical ADHD assessment and education program and is not a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation. Certain school, workplace, disability, or other formal accommodation requests may require additional testing from another qualified professional.
Attachment & Family Healing
Parent + Child Connection — $1,500
Helping parents and children find their way back to connection.
Parent + Child Connection is an attachment-focused specialty program for families experiencing disconnection, relational stress, emotional or behavioral challenges, or the effects of difficult experiences.
Through a combination of parent support and developmentally appropriate child and family work, the program focuses on understanding what's happening beneath behavior, strengthening emotional safety, supporting co-regulation, and creating opportunities for connection and repair.
May include: parent consultation and education, play-based experiences, attachment-focused interventions, nervous-system and regulation work, parent-child sessions, and individualized strategies for home.
Finding Safety Together — $1,500
Attachment-focused support for foster, adoptive & kinship families.
Children who have experienced separation, loss, disrupted caregiving, trauma, or changes in attachment relationships may experience safety and connection differently. Finding Safety Together is designed specifically for foster, adoptive, and kinship families navigating these experiences.
The program helps caregivers better understand the child's experiences and responses while creating opportunities to strengthen safety, trust, regulation, and connection within the caregiving relationship.
May include: caregiver education, attachment-focused work, trauma-informed play, parent-child experiences, nervous-system and regulation support, and individualized strategies for responding to the child's needs.
Faith-Integrated Healing
Rooted — $1,400
Healing that makes room for both your story and your faith.
Rooted is an eight-session Christian, faith-integrated healing series for adults who want their spiritual beliefs to be an intentional part of the therapeutic process.
Together, we can explore the ways experiences, relationships, identity, emotions, the nervous system, and faith intersect—while creating space for questions, struggle, growth, and healing without pressure to have everything figured out.
The series may incorporate: trauma-informed therapy, somatic and nervous-system approaches, identity and relational work, reflection, Scripture, prayer, and other faith-integrated practices when meaningful to the client.
Faith is integrated collaboratively and never used to minimize emotional pain, bypass difficult experiences, or replace appropriate mental health treatment.

Investment & Payment
Specialty programs and therapy intensives are private-pay services with Natalie. Pricing varies based on the program, session length, and level of support included.
Each program has a clearly defined fee so you'll know the investment before beginning. Payment options may be available for select programs and will be discussed during your consultation.
Because these services are structured differently from traditional weekly therapy, insurance coverage is not guaranteed. Documentation for potential out-of-network reimbursement may be available when appropriate, but reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan.
Program fees range from $750–$1,750 depending on the service.
